HAIR BREAKAGE

5 of many ways to stop HAIR BREAKAGE:

1. Trim ends- get your ends trimmed, not a hair cut (there is a difference), get at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch trimmed every three months. keeping your ends trimmed can benefit from having spit ends which can cause a dramatic hair cut for sure in the long run.

2.Use a protein strengthening product asap. Protein gives your hair strength and elasticity. Don't overdue, this can cause dryness. Depending on the level of damage, you may need protein once a week until you see improvement.

3. Do not overlap chemical treatments. Any chemical changes made to the hair is a permanent change: therefore overlapping can cause serious damage to an already weak strand.

4. Do not brush your hair while it is wet. Your hair is at a fragile state when it's wet. Combing is okay with a wide tooth comb, due this in order to distribute conditioner evenly and in sections.
Allow your hair to dry half way before using a brush and blow dryer.

5. Ease of on the heat. You can cause heat damage to your hair. It is not necessary to use high heat to get good results from your hair. A lot of companies are marketing 450 degree heating tools. It don't take that much.
It is not necessary to use heat daily. Your ends are fragile because they are the oldest part of your hair. Applying any heat source to your ends cause them to weaken and eventually split causing frizzy, dry, damaged hair. Curling irons, flat irons, and blow dryers. USE HEAT PROTECTANTS
